Position Overview

We’re seeking a highly motivated SMB Account Executive to join our fast-growing sales team. This role will be responsible for driving new business and expanding Grip Security’s footprint across small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) along the East Coast. Based in Boston, this position offers a hybrid work environment with flexibility for remote and in-office collaboration.

This is an exciting opportunity to get in early at a cybersecurity innovator and help build lasting customer relationships in a rapidly evolving space.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing within the East Coast SMB territory
  • Develop, manage, and grow a strong pipeline of qualified leads using best-in-class sales tools and practices
  • Understand customer needs and challenges and effectively communicate how Grip’s solutions solve them
  • Partner with Sales Engineering, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to drive engagement and revenue growth
  • Use value-based selling techniques to articulate ROI and business impact to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management practices
  • Represent Grip Security at industry events, regional trade shows, and customer meetings as needed

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure
  • Proven success in prospecting, closing, and exceeding quota in a similar SMB sales role
  • Strong understanding of the cybersecurity or SaaS application landscape a major plus
  • Comfortable selling to both technical and business decision-makers
  • Self-starter mentality with excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
  • Based in or near Boston, MA, with the ability to travel throughout the East Coast as needed
