Job description

What if you could build a career where ambition meets innovation? At LPL Financial, we empower professionals to shape their success while helping clients pursue their financial goals with confidence. What if you could have access to cutting-edge resources, a collaborative environment, and the freedom to make an impact? If you're ready to take the next step, discover what’s possible with LPL Financial.

Job Overview:

The Investment Center Advisor Group is a community of over 350 professionals affiliated with LPL Financial. Our mission is to provide advisors with the freedom to run their practices independently—while offering the connection, support, and infrastructure of a larger network. We strive to create an environment where advisors and their teams feel empowered and part of something greater.

At ICA Group, we support independent financial advisor offices by simplifying complex systems and delivering high-impact, personalized service. As part of the LPL Financial ecosystem, we serve as the connection between small advisor teams and a large corporate infrastructure

Our motto is to “make big feel small.” We bring structure, clarity, and follow-through to everything we do—so advisors and their staff feel supported, not overwhelmed.

We’re a small, experienced team that works with trust, accountability, and a shared sense of purpose. Everyone brings different strengths, and we rely on strong communication and mutual support to keep things moving. We value consistency, creative thinking, and a team-first mindset. If you’re someone who takes ownership and finds pride in doing meaningful work well, you’ll fit right in.

This role is a key part of our operations team. We’re looking for someone who’s reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing important workflows from start to finish. You’ll be responsible for keeping things organized and on track behind the scenes while working closely with both internal teams and advisor offices.

You won’t be doing busywork—your contributions will directly shape how advisors experience our support. From onboarding coordination to service follow-up and digital engagement, this role is hands-on, fast-moving, and meaningful.

We need someone who can take ownership, is resourceful, communicate clearly, and help us maintain a high level of service—especially as we grow.

What We Offer

  • A close-knit, mission-driven team that values communication and follow-through

  • Work that matters and has a direct impact on the advisor offices we serve

  • Flexibility to work hybrid or remotely (depending on experience and fit)

  • A role that blends structure with creativity—and space to grow

Responsibilities:

Client Support & Administrative Coordination

  • Support onboarding of new advisor offices, including communication, documentation, and scheduling

  • Follow up on service escalations and coordinate with LPL teams to get things resolved

  • Keep internal documents, directories, and CRM entries accurate and organized

  • Help track team projects and document meeting outcomes

Digital & Communication Support

  • Assist with managing our LinkedIn and Facebook presence (light content scheduling, updates)

  • Help ensure communication with advisors and assistants is clear and consistent

  • Share ideas for improving outreach or engagement based on what you're seeing day to day

Team Collaboration

  • Communicate openly and proactively with team members

  • Contribute to internal projects and help us improve how we work

  • Show up with curiosity, accountability, and a service-first mindset

  • Stay self-driven and take initiative without needing close supervision

What are we looking for?

We’re looking for strong collaborators who deliver exceptional client experiences and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. Our ideal candidates pursue greatness, act with integrity, and are driven to help our clients succeed. We value those who embrace creativity, continuous improvement, and contribute to a culture where we win together and create and share joy in our work.

Core Competencies:

  • You’re experienced, dependable, and confident owning your responsibilities

  • You care about the details and take pride in finishing what you start

  • You’re organized, steady, and good at keeping things on track without needing to be micromanaged

  • You’re a clear communicator who’s comfortable working with advisor offices and team leads

  • You’re curious, open to new tools, and ready to support both structure and creativity

  • You are always looking for ways to grow through learning, studying, and continuous improvement

  • You are a self-starter

Preferences:

  • Experience working in a financial advisor office or supporting client service/operations

  • Familiarity with tools like Redtail CRM, ClientWorks, Microsoft Teams, Office Suite

  • Experience with onboarding, follow-ups, or back-office processes

  • Comfort with light content planning or social media scheduling tools (e.g., Constant Contact, Canva, Buffer)

  • A calm, thoughtful approach—especially when things are moving fast
