Job description

Project Manager

Home-based/Remote

Spain

The Project Manager is responsible for the oversight and delivery of Clinical Outcome Assessment Accelerator (COAA) Owner/Collaborator Modules.   The Project Manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to support the product’s strategy, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals. This position will also document the business requirements and work with the software development team throughout the development cycles.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the systems, data, and business needs to build a product roadmap that outlines scope, milestones, and budget over time.
  • Understands detailed roadmap requirements and converts them into actionable user stories in Jira following defined procedures, including test strategy and desired outcomes.
  • Utilize Smartsheet to manage project timelines, track deliverables, and collaborate across cross-functional teams, enhancing visibility and efficiency in project execution.
  • Ability to understand, track, drill-down, and question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based upon that data.
  • Schedules and runs recurring meetings to manage each sprint, plans project timelines, manages resources, identifies risk, and communicates progress throughout the project. 
  • Participate in (and may be required to host) daily standup calls, sprint planning and sprint retrospectives with development team. 
  • Experience in authoring detailed Jira epics, user stories, and business and functional requirement documents (BRDs and FRDs) to support product development; maintain traceability matrices and proactively identify and document project risks to ensure alignment, and accountability.

  • Good listener that can quickly grasp design concepts and requirements.
  • Ability to quickly learn key characteristics of the COA business.
  • Strong English skills and ability to effectively document requirements in defined formats.
  • Strong communicator that efficiently conveys messaging between different team stakeholders
  • Solid organization and project management skills to work to tight timelines and keep the team on schedule.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, evaluate solutions, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Flexible, easy going, and able to quickly adapt to changing demands.
  • Prior experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet
