Job description

Summary

Designs technical solutions on ServiceNow platform as architect with Service Management team at Logicalis.  Works directly with customer to validate processes, gather requirements, and design solutions; engages with development team to see solutions come to reality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Performs implementations of ServiceNow solutions for customers, including development of solution designs, implementation plans and documentation.

  • Satisfies customer’s technology services and solution requirements using Now Create methodology.

  • Works directly with customer to gather requirements, design solutions, and build proof of concepts and implementation solutions.

  • Delivers consultative-based knowledge transfer and documentation to Logicalis’ customers.

  • Works with PMO in scheduling and managing engagements.

  • Works with Logicalis’ customers to perform assessments and health checks, along with new implementations and enhancements to existing ServiceNow instances.

  • Leads development effort in 3 ServiceNow areas: ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, ITBM, CSM, etc.

  • Leads scrum activities which entails sprint planning and story creation for development team.

  • Provides live demonstrations of solutions being developed.

  • Establishes relationships with clients by demonstrating strong listening skills.

  • Builds credibility and trust by delivering what has been promised within established timeframes.

  • Maintains focus on client satisfaction and expectation management.

  • Demonstrates and actively promotes an understanding and commitment to the mission of Logicalis through performing behaviors consistent with the organization's values.

  • Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations as well as policies and procedures of Logicalis in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behaviors.

  • Supports and conducts self in a manner consistent with customer service expectations.

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications

Education 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Experience / Technical Requirements

  • 4 years’ experience implementing and developing in ServiceNow.

  • Expert knowledge in the following ServiceNow concepts:

  • Java scripting, HTML, AJAX, CSS

  • Configuring ServiceNow connections with LDAP, SSO, SAML

  • Integrations using Integration Hub, REST web services, data imports

  • Service Portal

  • Programming with understanding of programming principles and logic

  • Proficient in IT Asset Management area.

  • Proficient use of all Microsoft Office applications

Certifications

  One or more of the following:

  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation

  • Certified System Administrator

  • Certified Implementation Specialist - IT Service Management

  • Certified Implementation Specialist – Hardware Asset Management

  • Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management

Salary Compensation Range:  $90,000 to $130,000
