Job description

The I&I Advanced Customer Engagement Director (ACED) works across a broad, multidisciplinary group of stakeholders to provide customer insights and patient driven solutions that creates opportunities for I&I BU products within influential Aligned KAD accounts and Supergroups.

The majority of the Advanced Customer Engagement Director’s (ACED) time will be working directly with customers to accelerate and optimize customer engagement that drives incremental value for the customer, Pfizer and the patient.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accelerate and optimize customer engagement that drives incremental value for the customer, Pfizer and the patient within the IAT process.
  • The ACED works closely with the MG-IDN marketing colleagues and our agency partners to help drive solutions that support mutually aligned goals for the customer and Pfizer.
  • Works with the IAT and the customer in developing an optimal plan for effectively implementing, communicating, and improving patient care that is aligned to appropriate goals and KPIs and customers capabilities
  • Contribute to the overall operational excellence of I&I engagement with key accounts, including developing IAT materials, support for account planning and tools to compliantly discuss and highlight IAT impact within our aligned accounts.
  • Ensure progress toward customer goals is monitored and plans are adjusted accordingly to ensure impact is established and sustained
  • Sharing of best practices across I&I on the use of Brand and RCM resources that appropriately advances and accelerates customer initiatives
  • Lead, develop and implement the POA in partnership with the brand and KAM Leadership in line with KAM Platform Goals and KPIs
  • Critical Account Management (project management + change management)
  • Customer organizational governance/decision making/capabilities/stakeholder management Marketing strategy and execution

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Pharma or Healthcare sales and/or marketing experience
  • Prior local and/or in-line marketing experience with strong history of achievement and performance (4+ years)
  • Extensive experience in health system/MG/IDN Sales, Account Management or other customer facing role
  • Proven ability to develop insights, strategy, and tactical plans
  • Cross functional experience is preferred

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong strategic analytical capability with sound business acumen and customer orientation
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills to synthesize customer and market insights into prioritized marketing opportunities
  • Result oriented with effective planning, prioritization and project management skills 
  • Core marketing capabilities to design marketing strategies and tactics to maximize local opportunities
  • Knowledge of the healthcare market and its customers
  • Effectively works with cross functional stakeholders and is capable of being an effective member of the regional team and Integrated Account Team
  • Strong persuasive interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and sound business acumen
  •  Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including:
  • the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others,
  • oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $169,700.00 to $282,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
