We are hiring a Data Scientist to work on a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives. 

What you'll be doing:

The Data Scientist will determine opportunities for user analytics and identify issues with user experience and communicate those findings to the Product team. They will explain why problems on products exist and prove when a new user experience can be beneficial. The Data Scientist will be responsible for designing methods to collect, organize, and analyze data about users and user behaviors.

What you’ll bring:

  • 7+ years experience planning, designing, building and implementing IT-related data architecture strategies
  • Experience with Google Analytics Dashboard and Adobe Analytics
  • Big Data experience with technologies like Amazon Redshift, HADOOP, NOSQL, Apache Kafka, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow and Snowflake
  • Nice to have experience with Pyspark, R, Databricks, Python, PostgreSQL & Lambda
  • Previous healthcare industry experience, specifically within CMS and/or hospital quality reporting, a big plus.
  • Experience building  partnerships to drive change in the government space
  • Experience providing  guidance to and assisting other engineers that do not report directly to them
  • Agile software development experience
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically 
  • Must be able to attain low-level security clearance

Compensation:

At Oddball, it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised, actual offer details are determined by job category, job location, and candidate skill level.

United States Wage Range: $125,000 – $175,000
