Job description

About Us

Udacity is on a mission of forging futures in tech through radical talent transformation in digital technologies. We offer a unique and immersive online learning platform, powering corporate technical training in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Autonomous Systems, Cloud Computing and more. Our rapidly growing global organization is revolutionizing how the enterprise market bridges the talent shortage and skills gaps during their digital transformation journey.

Udacity is now an Accenture company, and the future is bright! 🚀 We are actively seeking a Senior Vice President of Product to lead our product and design teams through an exciting next chapter: scaling post-acquisition while staying true to our mission and customers. Reporting directly to the COO and collaborating closely with the C-suite and Accenture partners, you’ll define and execute against the product vision, drive cross-functional alignment, and deliver measurable commercial impact.

You must be a strategic operator and inspiring leader who can translate complex technical ideas into business outcomes, build trust with stakeholders, and lead a high-performing team through change and growth.

Location: This is a remote based position in the United States.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the Product Vision: Iterate on our product vision to align with business goals and Accenture’s broader strategy. Inspire teams and stakeholders to rally around it
  • Operationalize Strategy: Translate strategic goals into actionable roadmaps with measurable outcomes. Drive structured execution in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
  • Lead and Develop Talent: Recruit, grow, and retain a diverse team of high-performing Product Management and Design leaders. Instill clarity, accountability, and motivation
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner seamlessly with Engineering, GTM, Customer Success, and Accenture stakeholders. Align roadmaps to broader business priorities and external partner objectives
  • Deliver Impact: Maintain a strong bias for action. Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, customer value, and strategic fit. Hold teams accountable for outcomes, not just outputs
  • Be the Voice of the Customer and Market: Advocate relentlessly for user needs while balancing technical feasibility and commercial goals. Stay connected to customer pain points and market shifts
  • Drive Communication and Alignment: Facilitate clarity across teams and executives. Simplify complex concepts and foster alignment through effective storytelling and structured discussions

What we value:

  • Ed Tech experience
  • 12+ years of product leadership experience, including scale-up and/or post-acquisition environments
  • Proven success collaborating with GTM, Engineering, and external strategic partners
  • Owned both Product and Design teams at a high-growth B2B SaaS or platform company
  • Demonstrated ability to operationalize strategy: from defining vision to executing roadmaps with measurable business impact
  • Experience building and leading diverse, high-performing product teams globally
  • Ability to translate technical concepts into outcomes and frameworks that resonate with non-technical stakeholders
Executive presence: Able to influence at the C-level and drive consensus in complex, high-stakes environments
  • Familiarity with enterprise ecosystems (integrations, HRIS, LMS, etc) and digital transformation is a strong plus
Previous experience navigating enterprise acquisition environments (either as part of the acquired team or acquirer) preferred

Who You Are

  • A builder and operator who thrives in ambiguity and turns strategy into action
  • A strong collaborator and facilitator who seeks to align rather than dictate
  • A customer-centric leader with a commercial mindset
  • A trusted peer to the C-suite

What We Do

Forging futures in tech is our vision. Udacity is where lifelong learners come to learn the skills they need, to land the jobs they want, and to build the lives they deserve.

Don’t stop there!  Please keep reading...

You’ve probably heard the following statistic: Most male applicants only meet 60% of the qualifications, while women and other marginalized candidates only apply if they meet 100% of the qualifications. If you think you have what it takes but don’t meet every single point in the job description, please apply!

We believe that historically, many processes disproportionately hurt the most marginalized communities in society- including people of color, working-class backgrounds, women and LGBTQ people. Centering these communities at our core is pivotal for any successful organization and a value we uphold steadfastly.  Therefore, Udacity strongly encourages applications from all communities and backgrounds.

Udacity is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer. Please read our blog post for “6 Reasons Why Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace Exists”

Last, but certainly not least…

Udacity is committed to creating economic empowerment and a more diverse and equitable world. We believe that the unique contributions of all Udacians is the driver of our success. To ensure that our products and culture continue to incorporate everyone’s perspectives and experience we never discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, marital status, national origin, ancestry, disability, medical condition (including genetic information), age, veteran status or military status, or any other basis protected by federal, state or local laws.

As part of our ongoing work to build more diverse teams at Udacity, when applying, you will be asked to complete a voluntary self-identification survey. This survey is anonymous, we are unable to connect your application with your survey responses. Please complete this voluntary survey as we utilize the data for diversity measures in terms of gender and ethnic background in both our candidates and our Udacians. We consider this data seriously and appreciate your willingness to complete this step in the process, if you choose to do so.
