About the role: 

As a Strategic Account Manager, you’ll help develop and deliver market shaping services for employers who aspire to deliver better care for their employees who’ve been diagnosed with serious or complex health conditions. You’ll help PHM clients understand and address the burden of complex conditions, like cancer, on their employees and business. This includes assessing the effectiveness of current programs, analyzing utilization, understanding each client’s health plan and broader benefits strategy, and advising clients on how to adopt PHM programs designed to improve clinical outcomes while managing costs. To do this, you’ll partner closely with our sales, marketing and clinical teams to bring the best of PHM to our clients. 

What You’ll Accomplish 

  • Serve as the strategic partner and trusted advisor to corporate clients; this includes:  
    • Providing ongoing reporting to corporate clients demonstrating the value of PHM services for their population 
    • Partner with sales and clinical resources to drive continued engagement with the employer and to further our relationships – building deeper relationships with existing client contacts along with expansion of relationships across the organization 
    • Drive member engagement in our services through strategic engagement strategies and potential integrations within any given client’s benefit ecosystem 
  • Materially grow Health Solutions revenue through:  
    • Serving as the PHM expert in new client pursuits 
    • Identifying opportunities to expand services to our existing clients 

  

What you bring to the table  

  • Bachelor’s degree & 5+ years of success growing and managing complex client relationships with an emphasis on prior health and employee benefits plan experience 
  • Proven success establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to clients across all levels of an organization on complex new initiatives 
  • Exceptional executive presence, collaboration and written and oral communication skills 
  • High technology literacy 
  • Availability and ability to travel regularly

Compensation: The target OTE of this position is $150,000-$180,000 with a base salary range of $125,000 - $150,000 with additional commission and bonus incentives possible.  

Cash compensation is only a part of a total compensation package that also includes health/dental/vision benefits, 401k with match, flexible PTO, our own world class care navigation services, and other benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range as several factors including market forces, experience, location, disparities in market data and other relevant business considerations may all factor into final compensation. 

This is a remote role that requires significant travel and that you live in one of the following states where we currently have business operations: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KY, MA, MI, MO, NJ, NC, NM, NY, OH, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA
