What is the opportunity?
As an Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving growth and building strategic partnerships across our corporate/B2B business. You will be responsible for managing and expanding our accounts by developing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders. This position requires excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the learning and development industry, and a passion for transforming access to education.
What does success look like?
- Build and execute account plans to maximise life-time value of clients
- Partner with International Development Director and clients to implement and deliver products and services, in line with contracted terms and service level expectations and agreements
- Work in collaboration with internal teams, such as Marketing and Technology, to deliver for clients
- Work as a trusted advisor to our clients to align their learning needs with our solutions and ensure maximum use of Futurelearn products
- Work in collaboration with Business Development Managers to identify and realise growth opportunities across clients and sectors
- Proactively develop and maintain relationships with accounts across the corporate and government sectors.
- Understand the unique needs of each account and develop customised solutions to meet their learning and development goals.
- Gather qualitative and quantitative data on client current and future learning need to inform and drive product strategy
- Working with Product Team to ensure access to content to meet client needs
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure the successful execution of enterprise initiatives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activities, providing insights and recommendations to the leadership team.
- Conduct regular account reviews to assess performance against key metrics and identify areas for improvement.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelors degree in a related field (e.g., business, education, or marketing)
- Proven experience in enterprise sales and account management, preferably in the e-learning or learning and development industry.
- Experience and in-depth understanding of the region (MEA) and sales and relationship management in that region
- Strong knowledge of the L&D and/or EdTech market, including current trends and challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and solutions.
- Data fluency and capable of collating and analysing data to gather insights for business and clients
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously while also being a team player.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
