Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and support the East/South East engineering team in daily service tasks and maintenance activities.
  • Develop team goals and strategies to enhance productivity and ensure timely completion of engineering tasks.
  • Act as a brand ambassador, maintaining company values and building rapport with customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive improvements and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

🧰 Over seeing, planning and supporting Team East/South East with the daily tasks of services, maintaining and overhaul, fault find and resolve on a range of material handling products.

πŸ“ˆ Develop and oversee team goals and strategies to enhance productivity and service quality. Conduct formal 1-2-1’s in line with business policy. Ensuring that your team respond to breakdowns.

πŸ—‚ Ensure the timely completion and documentation of all engineering and maintenance activities.

πŸ—£ Act as a brand ambassador, upholding our company values of trust, support, and integrity in all interactions. You’re the face of our company we are looking for someone that can build a good rapport & deal promptly with customer downtime helping to keep their business moving!

βš–οΈ Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

βš™οΈ Collaborate with internal teams to drive improvements and resolve engineering challenges effectively.

What We're Looking For:

You will have worked with material handling products or hold an engineering position and are looking for the next step to further your career; however, we are open to considering candidates from other backgrounds such as: Automotive, Roadside recovery, Agricultural, REME, Construction Equipment, PSV, HGV, LGV or Plant.

πŸ” Demonstrable skills in engineering and customer service, with a strong foundation in problem-solving.

πŸ’‘ Experience in welding techniques is highly desirable.

πŸ—¨ Exceptional communication abilities and a focus-oriented mindset.

What will help you to excel in this role:

πŸŽ“ City and Guilds in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering related field. Qualified in related field or similar years’ experience

πŸ” Diagnostic computer skills. Experience with welding processes and equipment maintenance.

πŸ’» Proficient IT skills, especially in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

🚘 Full UK driving license.
