The Opportunity
 
Adept Group is seeking a dynamic and driven Account Executive to generate demand, build a qualified sales pipeline, and convert opportunities into long-term clients. This is a high-impact role that requires a growth mindset, strong initiative, and the ability to drive new business. As a key contributor to our commercial team, the AE, a growth focused leader, is responsible for identifying market opportunities, forging new client relationships, and leading sales efforts from first contact through closing.
 
Primary Objectives: 
  • Create and cultivate demand for Adept Group’s technical packaging services 
  • Proactively build and manage a robust sales pipeline 
  • Close high-value new business and establish strategic client relationships
Key Responsibilities:

Demand Generation & Pipeline Development 

  • Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, industry events, referrals). 
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that position Adept Group as a premier packaging engineering partner. 
  • Qualify and nurture inbound leads, setting up discovery meetings to understand client challenges and objectives. 
  • Use HubSpot CRM to build a healthy pipeline and accurately forecast revenue opportunities.

Closing New Business 

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract execution.   
    Collaborate closely with Service Delivery leads to develop client-specific value propositions. 
  • Lead pricing discussions and commercial negotiations, ensuring deals align with Adept Group’s growth and profitability goals. 
  • Drive urgency and momentum to accelerate deal closures and revenue impact.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Building 

  • Establish credibility and trust with executive-level decision-makers at prospective client organizations. 
  • Tailor communications and proposals to resonate with various buyer personas. 
  • Partner with internal stakeholders, including Marketing and Service Delivery leads, to deliver winning proposals and seamless handoffs. 

Strategic Growth & Market Positioning 

  • Monitor market trends and competitive positioning to uncover new opportunities for engagement. 
  • Contribute to thought leadership, including social selling and brand-building activities on platforms like LinkedIn. 
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell potential within new accounts to expand revenue streams.
Qualifications:
  • Mindset: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment with a relentless focus on results. You bring energy, ambition, and a passion for winning. 
  • Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in B2B technical service sales; packaging industry experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communicator, consultative seller, confident negotiator
  • Proficiency in CRM software (HubSpot preferred).
  • Adaptability: Open to feedback, fast learner, comfortable navigating ambiguity and changing priorities.

Salary: $80,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission
