About the Opportunity 
 
Operating for over 40 years, and with investment from a strong Australian Private Equity fund in 2024, Fyfe continues to experience high growth and expand our portfolio. Due to considerable growth across the business, we are seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst who will join the team reporting into the Senior Strategy Manager. 

This role will support the group with strategic planning, operational improvement, M&A, and other strategic and growth initiatives. Some key responsibilities of the role include: 

  • Providing modelling, valuation analysis, due diligence and project management support for M&A opportunities, 
  • Developing detailed financial evaluations to support proposed projects, 
  • Providing operational KPI analysis and modelling,  
  • Supporting strategic pricing work,  
  • Conducting research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer preferences.  

The successful candidate will have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience gained in Investment Banking, big 4 M&A, strategy consulting, or an in-house strategy/corporate development role.  

Your background will also consist of: 

  • Bachelor degree in Commerce, Economics, Finance or related field with proven commercial acumen. 
  • Strong financial modelling skills with capability of building and auditing complex models.  
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. 
  • Proficiency in predictive data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, PowerBi). 
  • Strong skills in the preparation of succinct presentations. 
  • Demonstrated flexibility in adapting to changing business environments and priorities.
