Job Description:

Verify and ensure the accuracy and completeness of diagnosis codes based on services rendered.
Complete appropriate documentation or system entry regarding claims.
Ensure coding meets current compliance and regulatory requirements
Abstract additional data elements during the Chart Review process when coding.
Identify appropriate assignment of CPT and ICD-9 Codes for Physician and facility services.
Stay updated with the latest coding standards, guidelines, and best practices.
Participate in audits and provide support for compliance reviews.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduate of Medical allied courses; Nurses, Physical Therapist, Medical Technologist. Preferred but not required.
Consultancy basis minimum of 6 months consultancy contract (subject for renewal)
Minimum of 1-2 years of coding experience in a healthcare setting (e.g., outpatient, inpatient, professional, or facility coding).
Understanding of ICD-9 or ICD-10 Coding
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and coding software.
Requires strong accuracy, attentiveness to detail and time management skills
Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
