Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Systems (PS) Consultant to support and

enhance our SAP PS module for managing large-scale construction and real estate

projects. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP PS, integration with other

SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PM), and a strong understanding of project planning,

budgeting, cost tracking, and revenue management within the construction and real

estate industry.

Key Responsibilities:

SAP PS Implementation & Configuration:

Configure and customize SAP PS to meet business needs in construction project

management.

Define and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Networks, Milestones,

and Activities.

Set up project budgeting, cost planning, and forecasting functionalities.

Integrate SAP PS with SAP FI/CO (cost control), MM (procurement), and SD

(contract management).

Configure resource planning, progress tracking, and billing structures.

Implement Project Cash Flow and Investment Management functionalities.

Project Execution & Monitoring:

Support real-time tracking of project costs, revenues, and profitability.

Assist in defining and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for project

efficiency.

Provide project status reporting, variance analysis, and financial impact

assessments.

Optimize SAP PS functionalities to improve efficiency in project scheduling,

resource allocation, and progress tracking.

System Support & Process Optimization:

Work closely with business users to understand project management

requirements and improve SAP PS processes.

Troubleshoot and resolve SAP PS issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Document processes, user manuals, and best practices for SAP PS

functionalities.

Conduct training sessions for project managers and key stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in SAP Project Systems (PS) within construction or real

estate.

Strong understanding of WBS structures, cost planning, progress tracking, and

revenue recognition.

Experience integrating SAP PS with FI/CO, MM, SD, and PM modules.

Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and Fiori applications for project management.

Familiarity with SAP Investment Management (IM) and Capital Projects

functionalities.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to translate business requirements into SAP PS solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP PS certification or equivalent training.

Experience with SAP CPM (Commercial Project Management).

Knowledge of construction-specific contract management and cost control.

Experience with real estate project lifecycle management in SAP.
