Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Tableau Visualization Engineer to join our data team. As a Tableau Visualization Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining visually engaging and interactive Tableau dashboards and reports. Your work will empower decision-makers to leverage data for insights, strategic planning, and performance tracking. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and developers to ensure that Tableau reports and visualizations meet user needs and provide meaningful insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Dashboard Development & Maintenance : Design, create, and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations that effectively communicate key business insights.
Data Analysis : Work with data analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, define metrics, and ensure the visualizations accurately reflect business goals and objectives.
ETL & Data Integration : Collaborate with data engineers to integrate data from multiple sources (SQL databases, cloud storage, etc.) into Tableau for reporting and analysis.
Optimization : Optimize Tableau reports for performance, ensuring fast load times and efficient data processing.
Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams including business analysts, product managers, and developers to ensure seamless implementation of data solutions.
User Training : Provide training and support to business users to ensure effective use of Tableau visualizations and tools.
Quality Assurance : Conduct testing to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and functionality of dashboards and reports.
Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with the latest Tableau features and best practices to continually improve reporting solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
4+ years of experience working with Tableau, with a strong portfolio of dashboards and reports.
Proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep.
Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with database querying (e.g., MS SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques for connecting various data sources to Tableau.
Ability to translate complex data sets into visually compelling and easy-to-understand reports and dashboards.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
