Description

Ensuring professional, consistent, and efficient coverage, the Escrow Insurance Administrator will be responsible for daily sorting and routing of incoming and outgoing overnight packages and mail. Assists in-office and remote partners with mailings and other projects, completing weekly and monthly reporting and other insurance or insurance claim support duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist with opening, reviewing and distributing mail that comes in daily to the appropriate department. 
  • Assist in updating servicing software with any new information that comes in the daily mail. 
  • Organizing and reporting on all incoming insurance claim checks.
  • Assist with endorsements and deposits on insurance checks or claim checks.
  • Assist in prepping and mailing checks and documents out to borrowers or our insurance vendor. 
  • Answer questions from both borrowers and internal employees specific to insurance and insurance claims.  Assist the insurance claim department with the daily processing of claims. 
  • Assist the insurance department with daily and monthly duties.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE 

  • High School Diploma 
  • Prior financial industry experience preferred

 

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Proficiency in the ability to access, input, retrieve, and interpret information using applicable computer systems (including but not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Ability to use company equipment in assigned areas (including but not limited to telephone, copiers, fax machines, computers, internet, etc.).
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional attitude. Ability to communicate with courtesy and diplomacy, efficiently follow written and verbal instructions. 
  • Flexibility and ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse group of individuals, clients, staff, and outside contacts in person and by telephone. 
  • Read, write, and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions
