Description

Responsible for reviewing data with accurate results in the boarding of service transferred/service released loans to our servicing platform, facilitating the smooth transfer of Loans between entities, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies, and facilitating other servicing departments as needed.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review each service released and service transferred loans for data accuracy and completeness of investor requirements.
  • Activate/Release inbound service-transferred loans in the servicing system.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments, external vendors, and customer care throughout the transfer process, providing timely updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Understands multiple aspects of mortgage loan servicing including customer service, collection and sale of collateral, and corresponding systems.
  • Facilitates loan servicing and transfer activities for the servicing portfolio
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including but not limited to, RESPA, TILA, and investor guidelines.
  • Facilitates check validation dual control with the completion of Positive Pay
  • Facilitates with Help Desk Ticket
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to mitigate potential risks associated with servicing transfers.
  • Maintains current knowledge of all policies, procedures, and other documentation for servicing programs and loan products.
  • Review and complete Indemnification and Change of Address reports in the servicing system.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of transfer processes and procedures, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Support of the Letter Librarian for Letter updates.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • 2-3 years of real estate servicing experience at a financial institution is preferred, but not required.
  • Mortgage and/or Quality Control experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Previous Customer Service experience preferred.
  • Associates or Job Level equivalent experience.

 

 

SKILLS REQUIRED
  • Proficiency in the ability to access, input, retrieve, and interpret information using applicable computer systems with limited supervision (including but not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional attitude.  Ability to communicate with courtesy and diplomacy, and efficiently follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Experience using ICE (FKA Black Knight MSP) mortgage servicing software is preferred, but not required.
