The Seattle Times, a family-owned news organization, is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (front-end) to join our Information Technology team. This front-end engineer is responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from daily support for content production and publishing to integrating third-party systems into our news products. This individual is responsible for coordinating integration, design, and development with other software engineers while enhancing the process for testing and deployment. The Senior Software Engineer needs a broad technical background, exceptional technical skills, and extensive experience in integrating, developing and managing large systems.
The stakeholders are product and business managers. The successful Senior Software Engineer will be results-driven, passionate about delivering quality innovation, and motivated to mentor and contribute to standards.

Work Location: While this is a remote work opportunity, finalists must be current or future residents of Washington state.
Compensation: The full salary range for this position is $104,100 to $147,000. We typically pay between $104,100 to $132,700, depending on experience and qualifications.
