Job description

Description

Agile Group seeks a Communications Specialist/Web Content Editor (WCE) to support the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers' PROMIS program. This fully remote role requires a current or eligible DoD-issued Secret Clearance.

You will lead the development, editing, and management of dynamic web content, newsletters, programmatic communications, and special messaging initiatives to promote user engagement and information sharing across the PROMIS enterprise.


Key Tasks:

  • Develop and distribute monthly enterprise-wide communications in Adobe PDF format, incorporating written narratives, interactive elements, and supporting graphics.
  • Draft, edit, and maintain content for internal web platforms, including the Oracle APEX portal and SharePoint sites.
  • Lead communication planning and content curation for PROMIS global halls, including presentation review, meeting minutes, and follow-up distributions.
  • Support the timely dissemination of critical notifications (system downtime, updates, training opportunities) across multiple channels.
  • Maintain the knowledge repository by posting and curating program materials and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with Section 508 accessibility requirements, Corps policy, and Public Affairs Office (PAO) guidance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to make sure web and communication strategies align with mission goals.
Requirements

  Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience managing federal or corporate communications programs.
  • Strong writing, editing, and content management skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
  • Familiarity with Section 508 compliance standards.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen with an active or eligible DoD Secret clearance.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills are required
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and incident management      software
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
