Position Overview:


The National Sales Manager position for AutoCamp & Field Station will be a strategic and key member of the sales team. Through proactive sales efforts you will be responsible for generating group and event leads and bookings for all AutoCamp and Field Station properties. This position will be deployed to southern US and will be assigned specific industry/vertical markets. Through proactive sales efforts including outside sales calls, prospecting calls, tradeshow and event attendance you will target opportunities to drive group and event revenue with an emphasis on impacting shoulder and off season at all properties in the AutoCamp and Field Station collection. A successful National Sales Manager will be a self-starter with experience in proactive sales and deep-rooted client relationships and territory knowledge. This position will be able to clearly articulate the AutoCamp value proposition to prospective groups and events and will have a track record of closing business, meeting and exceeding goals. This position is remote and must be located in a key AutoCamp / Field Station feeder or target market within the specified territory.  This is a remote role, but candidates must reside in a major city in one of the following states: AL, AR, FL, GA, LA, MS, NC, NM, OK, PR, SC, TN, TX.  Quarterly travel will be required.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Perform targeted proactive solicitation of businesses and organizations in defined territory and industry/vertical markets to strategically grow overall group and event bookings and revenues across the AutoCamp / Field Station collection.
  • Position is required to travel at minimum quarterly to a key feeder market within the assigned territory to conduct in market sales calls, host client events and attend networking functions.
  • Meet or exceed goals as established by sales leadership. Goals will be based on activity as well as productivity/revenue generation.
  • Aggressively pursue new accounts/business on a regular basis by prospecting, conducting client visits and raising AutoCamp / Field Station collection of properties awareness through virtual and in person presentations.
  • Identify key accounts and build a strategic plan to expand business opportunities within those accounts.
  • Promote awareness of AutoCamp and Field Station brands by networking with third party referral sources as well as attending appropriate industry events within assigned territory with potential to generate group and event business.
  • Establish relationships and network with key third-parties to garner qualified lead referrals.
  • Adhere to AutoCamp/Field Station processes and procedures
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of hotel group sales and catering experience preferably high-end boutique or resort destinations
  • Multi-property group sales experience
  • Relationships with and knowledge of companies, organizations and entities within assigned territory and industry/vertical markets
  • Track record success within a fast paced and revenue focused sales department.
  • A demonstrated ability to foster long term-sales relationships.
  • Ability and desire to prospect and secure new business opportunities.
  • Experience selling destination resorts and boutique/luxury markets is a plus.
  • A proactive sales approach and a natural drive to succeed
  • Demonstrated ability and track record of consistently exceeding sales goals.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-based applications; knowledge of Google Suite products preferred
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Effective sales presentation and interpersonal abilities.
  • Thoroughness and an attention to detail.
  • Must be a MacGyver and able to find solutions when problems arise
  • Must have a passion for the great outdoors
Salary Description
$80-85k per year plus bonus and benefits
