Overview


Sev-Rend Corporation is seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Team Leader to oversee and grow our national B2B sales efforts. Reporting directly to the COO, this role will lead a team of four remote sales team members, drive revenue growth, and play a key role in shaping and executing sales strategies.


The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in sales management within the tag, label, and flexible packaging industry, be adept in CRM development (preferably HubSpot), and reside in the St. Louis/Midwest region.

Requirements
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of four remote sales representatives. Set individual and team sales goals, monitor performance, and provide regular feedback through virtual meetings and performance reviews. 
  • Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve annual revenue targets, focusing on key accounts, new business development, and market expansion 
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to align sales initiatives with company goals and market demands. Provide regular reporting and forecasting.
  • Utilize and expand the company’s HubSpot CRM platform to improve sales processes, analytics, and pipeline visibility.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs to position the company’s products effectively. Establish and nurture relationships with key retail and distribution partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and customer service to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Provide ongoing training to sales reps on product knowledge (e.g., flexible films, pouches, bags), industry trends, and consultative selling techniques. Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Sales Professional) are a plus.
  • 6 years of proven success in a national or regional sales leadership role preferably in flexible packaging, industrial packaging, or related manufacturing industries.
  • 2 years of sales leadership experience, ideally managing remote or distributed teams.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a $20M–$50M company.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage remote or regional sales teams.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot CRM with the ability to develop and optimize usage.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Based in the Greater St. Louis Area/Midwest region.
  • Ability to travel (up to 50%) for client meetings, trade shows, or team mentoring. 

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Pay Range: $150,000 - $175,000
  • Bonus Potential up to 40% of base pay
  • 401k with Company Contribution.
