Who we need:


 
Overview:
 The Production Manager will oversee the execution of creative projects from inception to delivery, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams, external vendors, and freelance talent. This role requires a detail-oriented leader with a passion for process improvement, creative problem-solving, and delivering high-quality work on time and on budget.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end production process for a wide range of creative deliverables, including digital, print, video, and experiential campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Management, Creative, and Production teams to ensure alignment of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage vendor/freelance contracts and relationships to ensure cost-effective, high-quality production.
  • Source and coordinate external creative talent such as photographers, illustrators, animators, and video production crews as needed.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, milestones, and task assignments.
  • Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and communicate updates and next steps to stakeholders.
  • Ensure all creative assets are trafficked, reviewed, and delivered on schedule across various media channels.
  • Implement and refine processes and workflows to optimize team efficiency and project outcomes.
  • Oversee the vetting and management of freelance and contract workers for specialized project needs.
  • Allocate resources effectively across internal teams, independent contractors, and vendors to meet project requirements.
  • Promote strong cross-functional relationships to drive collaboration and ensure project alignment with agency goals.

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5+ years of production management experience in a marketing, advertising, or creative agency environment.
  • Proven track record of managing complex, multi-channel campaigns and creative projects.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management abilities.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Asana, Trello, Basecamp).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
