Key responsibilities:
Simulate vibrations on a multi-part body using FEM to ensure compatibility with transportation conditions and operational use.
Optimize the design and manufacturing of the structure based on simulation results.
Collaborate closely with the industrial partner and team members throughout the project.
Interpret complex technical drawings and utilize CAD software as needed.

An industrial partner is developing and producing a complex system for high-voltage applications. This system must be tested for vibrations to ensure compatibility with transportation conditions and operational use. Your task will be to simulate vibrations on the multi-part body using FEM. These simulations will help optimize the design and manufacturing of the structure, ensuring it is ready for real-world application. You will work in a team with close relations to the partner.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computational Engineering or a related technical field
Solid understanding of Finite Element Methods (FEM) and structural dynamics
Experience with FEM simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL, Abaqus, or Siemens NX)
Knowledge of material behavior under dynamic loads and basic principles of vibration analysis
Familiarity with CAD software and ability to interpret complex technical drawings
