Job description

This is a remote position.

SUMMARY
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Microsoft 365 Engineer to design, implement, and support Microsoft 365 services across a dynamic IT environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Exchange Online, Teams, Intune, SharePoint Online, and Azure Active Directory, with a strong focus on optimizing enterprise collaboration, security, and productivity tools.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design, deploy, and manage Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, Intune, and OneDrive.
• Provide support for Outlook issues on local workstations.
• Administer Azure Active Directory (AAD), including identity and access management, hybrid identity solutions, and conditional access policies.
• Manage Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device and app management.
• Assist with implementing and managing Azure IaaS and PaaS resources (e.g., virtual machines, networking, storage).
• Ensure security and compliance across the Microsoft 365 environment using Microsoft Defender, Purview, and Compliance Center tools.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for Microsoft 365-related incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients on cloud migration and digital transformation projects.
• Monitor system performance and usage, making recommendations for optimization.
• Maintain and update documentation for configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
• Stay up to date with the latest Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies and features.


Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proven experience in a Microsoft 365 Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services and administration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AD, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and Intune.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks.
• Familiarity with Azure AD Connect and hybrid cloud environments.
• Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.

CERTIFICATIONS (Preferred but not required)
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Should be willing to accept a long-term work-from-home arrangement.
• Should be amenable to a permanent night shift schedule.
