About the AMD - HP Inside Sales Technical Support Rep :  
MarketStar is looking for an Inside Sales Technical Support Rep to support our new AMD-HP Alliance teamThe ISTS will support the Inside Sales engagement with HP inside sales teams and customers as needed to demonstrate how AMD technology can support needs. The ISTS will have a special focus on pre-sales activity as well as provide development support activity as needed.  

  

Location: US - Remote 

  

What will you do?  

  • Establish and maintain strong connections with key stakeholders to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.  

  • Identify and secure new business by showcasing the advantages of HP and AMD  to HP Inside Sales teams and potential customers.  

  • Provide guidance on HP products, including workstations, desktops, and laptops, ensuring sales teams have accurate technical information 

  • Work closely with inside sales teams to enhance their understanding of HP-AMD solutions, helping them position products effectively 

  • Conduct training sessions for sales representatives, ensuring they are equipped with the latest product knowledge and sales techniques. 

  • Support sales teams in addressing customer inquiries, providing technical insights, and resolving concerns 

  • Collect and relay customer insights to sales, business units, and engineering teams to improve products and services.  

  • Assist in pricing strategies, competitive analysis, and discount structures to support sales effortsOffer expert advice to sales personnel and customers on the evaluation, design, and development of AMD-based client solutions.  

  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and propose suitable HP-AMD products and solutions.  

  • Coordinate with AMD and HP Sales, Architecture, Development, CTO, Business Unit, and other relevant teams to accomplish account objectives 

  • Conduct informative presentations, training sessions, and updates for sales reps, customers, partners, and prospects to demonstrate HP and AMD's capabilities.  

  • Convert customer business issues and requirements into technical engagements that showcase HP-AMD's product offerings.  

  • Stay informed about the competitive landscape and clearly communicate the unique advantages and value of HP-AMD products compared to competitors.  

  

What will you need to succeed?  

  • Strong technical knowledge of AMD products, HP’s workstation, desktop, and laptop portfolio 

  • Experience in sales support, training, pricing analysis, or technical enablement 

  • Excellent communication and training skills 

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders 

  • Problem-solving mindset with a customer-centric approach.A desire to continuously learn and stay updated with new technologies 

  • Excellent problem-solving, time-management, prioritization, organizational, and collaborative skills, with strong communication abilities and a proven track record in CPU and server system architecture.

The salary range for this position is between $$55,000 and $65,000.00 annually. There are several factors to consider including but not limited to, the role’s responsibilities, experience, location, education/training, internal equity, and key skills.
