Role: Lead Business System Analyst
Position Type: Full-Time Contract (40hrs/week)
Contract Duration: 18 months+
Work Hours: Eastern Time Zone (EST)
Work Schedule: 8 hours/day (Mon-Fri)
Location: 100% Remote (Candidates can from from anywhere in India or LATAM Countries)

Role Summary:

The Lead Business Systems Analyst applies analytical processes to the planning, design & implementation of technology systems to meet business requirements.
Leads multiple mid-large size implementations & initiatives.
Modifies systems including encoding, testing, debugging & installing support application systems.
Formulates measurable & actionable approaches to accelerate implementation through optimized or established operational workflow & processes.
Partners with operations to ensure business ideas are translated into requirements with clear & measurable outcomes.
Works with others to identify, research, & evaluate enterprise applications & technologies to promote strategic Technology & Digital initiatives.
Translates business needs to technical requirements, optimizing existing implementations & debugging reported issues.
Excellent knowledge of systems analysis, prototyping & integration.
Manages & leads others through change.
Provides & supports the implementation of business solutions by building partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, determining & carrying out necessary processes & practices, monitoring progress & results, recognizing & capitalizing on improvement opportunities & adapting to competing demands, organizational changes & new responsibilities

Responsibilities:

The Lead Business Systems Analyst proactively identifies, leads, plans, and executes on business, process and system improvements. This includes the assessment of issue severity, prioritizing responses as appropriate and monitoring progress and results, recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities, and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes and new responsibilities.
Performs in-depth analysis and documentation of current state/future state workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical requirements. Prioritizes and implements requested changes to the system. Performs analysis ? producing required documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, future state proposals, UAT plan)
Serves as liaison to business operations to elicit and prioritize business/functional requirement for initiatives. Support projects and sustainment by completing and updating documentation, managing scope, adjusting schedules when necessary, determining daily priorities, ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of tasks and/or milestones, following proper escalation paths and managing customer and supplier relationships.
Provide leadership to team/peers by collaborating with others,articulating ideas to senior mgmt,identifying/initiating projects,managing resources, driving the resolution of issues & holding self/team accountable for results.Analyze/translate business requirements into a sys design document. Tech & sys related analysis using knowledge of current app, interfaces & data structures to recommend solutions/provide input.
Formal/informal written comm methods to comm updates/findings to diverse audiences.
Understands points of interaction and impact on other systems across the enterprise. Application testing scenario development, execution, and remediation to ensure system functionality and integration with other applications/systems as appropriate. Assesses business processes and system inefficiencies to identify ways to increase adoption and customer satisfaction while negotiating expectations of multiple stakeholders.
Performs or provides support for system production issues and maintains documentation. Able to work effectively with remote team members to quickly resolve business critical production incidents successfully. Participates in the execution of test scripts.
Assist other Business Systems Analyst in developing training materials. Leads the installation of maintenance/patches and software upgrades.
Leads with proactive maintenance of Cloud and on-premise applications to ensure our mission critical systems remain stable, are able to scale as our business grows, and remain fit-for-purpose.
Adheres to departmental best practices, guidelines implementation. Passion for building elegant, maintainable, well-documented, secure solutions.
