Data Platform Engineer

Forbes Advisor is a new initiative for consumers under the Forbes Marketplace umbrella that provides journalist- and expert-written insights, news and reviews on all things personal finance, health, business, and everyday life decisions.

Responsibilities:
● Implement CI/CD pipeline, and build out testing and deployment workflows.
● Monitor performance of pipelines and different GCP services and continuously look out
for cost optimization.
● Closely work with data engineers to understand the data, pipelines and services in the data
engineering/warehousing architecture.
● Monitor controls for GCP security procedures and ensure team compliance across all data
environments.
● Implement code quality checks and unit test cases in the code repositories.
● Support the teams to clear off technical debts within acceptable timeframes.
● Propose and develop automation and reusable modules and frameworks for the data
pipelines.
● Researching emerging technologies, understanding their potential impact to continuously
improve our tech stack.

Requirements :
● 3+ years of relevant experience.
● Strong experience in Python and usage of Github.
● Google Cloud Platform Knowledge.
● Good hands-on in implementing CI/CD and automation.
