Job Description

 The Infrastructure Support Engineer works with the administration and management of essential operational elements within an organization to effective, efficiently and proactively utilize technology, information and data. The incumbent is an intellectually curious passionate technologist up to date with technology trends in the industry, equally relishing challenges to optimize existing systems and services, and challenges to introduce modern technologies. The incumbent is also responsible for Management support and triage.

  • Deploy updates and fixes and provide Level 2 Technical Support
  • Administers and monitors Windows and Linux platforms in the datacenter, from server OS to application. Builds and strengthens relationship and partnership with corporate infrastructure leads and team
  • Administers Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure.
  • Participates in incident response, root cause/postmortem analysis, and drives production improvements for key issues that result in business opportunity for Arch.
  • Have Knowledge on supporting IIS Applications and Tomcat Applications.
  • Promotes a continuous improvement, innovation and collaboration culture across IT.
  • Provides guidance to engineering and operations teams on enabling and managing end to end availability and performance of mission critical services
  • Works on building automation to eliminate waste and manual/repetitive tasks, prevent problem recurrence, and to respond to various service alerts and condition metrics
  • Support team in monitoring the team's various servers and alerting the team of any issues that may arise.
  • Administering Databases like SQL Server/ SQL Manage Instance/Snowflake.
  • Maintains Windows Group Policy, DNS and DHCP.

Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of technology solutions, including concepts, practices, and methods of infrastructure operations in AWS and Azure, Windows/Linux, and IT tools (monitoring, logging, alerting, Service Now, etc.).
  • Strategic problem solving, analytical and decision-making ability, with a sense of urgency.
  • Demonstrated experience in a production environment
  • Basic oral and written communication skills.
  • Desire to measure and continuously improve in all areas with a metrics & reporting mindset
  • Working knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Understanding of systems such as Linux and Windows infrastructure.
  • Working Knowledge on Group Policy, DNS, IIS and DHCP.
  • Experience with Azure
  • Experience with Monitoring Tools such as SolarWinds or Dynatrace.
  • Has knowledge on working with Virtualize Apps like Citrix.
  • Experience documenting processes and procedures as it pertains to software applications and implementations.
  • Knowledge on CI/CD Tools is a plus.
