DUTIES:
- Provide the Health Plan Systems with a platform for real-time stream processing by performing application and production support to help ensure the availability of streaming services and the continuous flow of data.
- Execute streaming best practices and proper stream architecture.
- Design, develop and maintain real-time processing applications.
- Design and develop extract, transform and load (ETL) processes required to supply data to Healthcare quality data analytical platforms.
- Maintain and update ETL process based on changing business needs and requirements.
- Perform impact analysis and adjust transformations based on regulator changes or audit findings.
- Design, develop and maintain real-time data pipelines.
- Build cloud data applications to integrate and generate datasets for Healthcare Quality data analytics and vendor application.
- Create data pipelines needed to transmit data to other systems or vendors.
- Deploy and implement applications through CI/CD processes and technologies.
- Analyze new streaming technologies from proof of concept to implementation.
- Implement automation and self-service tools to streamline interaction with shared service infrastructure.
- Automate, and schedule processes needed to integrate, transform, and transfer data between system in the organization.
- Position reports to Centene headquarters at 7700 Forsyth Boulevard, St. Louis, MO 63105 and various unanticipated worksites throughout the U.S. Telecommuting permitted 100% of the time. No additional national or international travel is anticipated.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position, and 5 years of relevant work experience.
- In addition, experience with the following skills is required: (1) Developing ETL jobs to extract data from heterogeneous sources, applying transformation logic to extract data, and loading into data warehouses; (2) Developing automated processes with dependencies on internal and external processes using automation tools, including BMC Control-M and Cron; (3) Working with Healthcare data, including membership, enrollment, provider, medical claims, pharmacy, lab, and clinical data to be able to transform to meet the needs of vendor or users, and to evaluate quality and completeness of data; (4) Working with Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), including clinical measures, processes, and schedules to be able to develop processes to support reporting the HEDIS reporting process for the organization; and (5) Developing processes to manage data on multiple database management systems (DBMS) including SQL Server, Teradata, Snowflake.

WORK HOURS: Monday-Friday, 40 hours/week [8:00 am to 5:00 pm]
PAY RANGE: $139,942.00 to $158,100.00 per year
