Job description

Location Details: Serbia - Remote 

At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.​

This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.  

Working hours: 24/7 rotating shifts Including evening and weekend working hours.

As a WordPress Developer at GoDaddy’s WordPress Premium Support team you will be helping our customers receive fast, professional and exquisite service using your WordPress expertise. You will be part of the crew that quickly gets them back on track if something goes wrong.

What you'll get to do...

  • You must be able to assist with user interface troubleshooting (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and PHP)
  • Be able to ensure a high-efficiency in managing all technical aspects of the WordPress
  • Experience in WordPress theme and plugin audits (Troubleshooting plugin and theme conflicts) and plugin and theme installation is vital
  • Have experience in Database Management (MySQL)
  • You must be able to serves as the liaison for all GoDaddy call center employees in regards to any WordPress related question/issue
  • Provide excellent customer service via email and tickets, following up in a timely manor and showing empathy toward the customer
  • Be able to interact with, and communicate effectively across departments within various levels of the organization to properly handle customer issues

Your experience should include...

  • Minimum of two year’s experience in working with WordPress
  • Must be comfortable working with debugging tools in different browsers
  • Ability to understand and perform CSS modifications in order to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
  • Experience in working with WooCommerce and its add-ons is a plus
  • Experience with website speed optimization
  • Understand the concept of MySQL, familiar with phpMyAdmin and the WordPress database structure
  • Basic knowledge of SSH
  • Patience and determination to help less technical customers with their website issues

 

You might also have...

  • Experience in using a ticket system to answer and resolve Customer issues
  • Experience working toward KPI's and Net Promoter Score (NPS)
