Job description

Role overview: As our Social Media Coordinator, you’ll help manage our end-to-end social media process—from planning and copywriting to scheduling and briefing designers. You’ll work closely with the wider marketing team to deliver impactful campaigns for our awards, events, rankings, webcasts, and more.

  • Responsibilities

  • ● Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and maintain social media content calendars aligned with marketing campaigns.

  • ● Write engaging, on-brand copy for social media platforms, focusing strongly on LinkedIn and Meta (FB/IG).

  • ● Schedule content using Sendible, Hootsuite, or equivalent tools.

  • ● Brief and liaise with the Design Team to ensure the timely delivery of campaign creatives. 

  • ● Ensure all social media plans align with campaign objectives, brand guidelines, and event timelines.

  • ● Incorporate URLs with tracking codes, campaign tags, and event hashtags in every post.

  • ● Monitor campaign performance and provide insights for optimisation.

  • ● Assist in running and managing paid social media campaigns when needed. 

Qualifications we seek:

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or related field.

● Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within publishing, events, or B2B media.

● Demonstrated ability to manage LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X accounts for business, with a strong understanding of audience behaviours per platform.

● Solid experience using social media scheduling tools (e.g. Sendible, Hootsuite).

● Strong copywriting skills with an eye for detail and tone consistency.

● Basic understanding of performance metrics and social ad campaigns is a bonus.

● Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple campaigns and deadlines
