IDS International is seeking a part-time, temporary Security Specialist to join our industrial security team.

Responsibilities:

Support the company’s compliance with the NISPOM and any other government, agency-specific, or company security policies and procedures
Ensure candidates and employees meet the security requirements of the client
Prepare and submit complete and accurate security packages, following up with subject and client security offices as appropriate
Maintain complete and accurate records
Assist the Facility Security Officer as directed

Required qualifications:

Active Top Secret security clearance
Associates degree or combination of education and experience
3+ years of experience in personnel security processing with an intelligence agency
Knowledge of government databases, including DISS and Scattered Castles
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desired qualifications:

Professional security certification

Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
