Position Summary:
The 842 Lease Accountant facilitates lease payments, performs monthly recording and reviewing of lease transactions, and serves as a liaison for addressing leasing inquiries between our business development and our hospital partners. This role will be responsible for helping with our implementation of our new lease accounting and management software, building out the related processes and controls, as well as gathering, reviewing, and inputting and maintaining all the related data.
In addition, the 842 Lease Accountant will maintain our fixed assets, intangibles and property taxes.

Education and/or Experience:
· ASC 842 experience required
· Requires 3-5 years’ experience in accounting
· Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system and Mi9 preferred
· Proficient in MS Word and Excel including pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
· Must be detailed-oriented, a team-player, professional and ethical
· Must have a proactive approach and strong organizational skills
· Excellent time management and interpersonal skills
Certifications or Licenses:
CPA / CPA Candidate not required
Leadership/Supervisory Responsibilities:
Lead the fixed assets and leasing cycles and interact heavily with other departments, including business development and store operations.
Other Skills & Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to effectively work with both internal and external customers
