About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Backend Developer with strong Golang expertise to join our product development team on a 6-month remote contract. The ideal candidate will have experience in building scalable and efficient backend systems and will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance solutions that drive our core products.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable backend services using Golang (must-have), with optional support in Python or Java.
Apply strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns to build efficient and maintainable code.
Lead and participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and design reviews to ensure best practices.
Collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality features and improvements.
Work with databases and Unix/Linux platforms to support backend infrastructure.
Contribute to the long-term technical vision and evolution of the product and platform.
Evaluate and experiment with new tools and technologies for continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills

B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field from a reputed institution.
4–6 years of experience in a product development company.
Strong command over data structures, algorithms, and system design.
Proficient in Golang (mandatory); experience in Python or Java is a plus.
Excellent understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
Experience working with databases and Unix/Linux environments.
Strong problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
Familiarity with Agile development processes and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
