Job Description

BryceTech is looking for a Communications Specialist to join our team and help Air Force Research Laboratory’s Department of the Air Force in executing communication strategies, content creation, and strategic planning. The selected candidate will work directly with the Air Force Program Management Office (PMO). The candidate must have strong communications skills and be able to travel as required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support and implement communication strategies to support organizational goals.
  • Develop engaging and high-quality content and marketing products for various platforms, including social media, press releases, reports, etc. for inreach and outreach.
  • Manage the organization’s content calendar to ensure timely and consistent communication.
  • Provide technical writing support, editing and proof-reading high-quality written materials.
  • Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and media contacts to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all channels.
  • Monitor industry trends and audience insights to refine strategies and keep communications fresh, relevant, and effective
  • Assess and analyze communications efforts, providing data-driven insights to inform future strategies.
  • Align communication efforts with organizational goals, ensuring that messaging supports and enhances strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to gather insights and translate them into cohesive, impactful messaging.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or related field.
  • Skill in extending narratives across various media channels to achieve communication goals and objectives.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and evaluation techniques to measure the impact and effectiveness of communication efforts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to think critically and make decisions autonomously in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.  
  • Proficiency in digital communication tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic photography and graphic creation skills preferred.
  • Ability to travel is required
  • Secret clearance required.
  •  5+ years of experience in program management, or related field, preferably within a military or government context.
