Architectural Draftsperson - (ZR_23620_JOB)

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Draftsperson to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive architectural drawings and documentation. This role requires proficiency in translating design concepts into technical drawings and incorporating feedback from clients and city planning departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings including:
  
• Floor plans with hatching, dimensions, and furniture layout
  
• Elevations and basic window/door schedules
  
• Site plans with relevant information
  
• Basic roof plans and wall details (WD)
  
• Set up title blocks and ensure consistency across drawing sets
  
• Input accurate window and door sizes as per design or code requirements
  
• Incorporate minor revisions from clients or city officials efficiently
  
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and company protocols
  
• Collaborate with project architects and other team members to ensure drawing accuracy and timely delivery
  

Requirements

Qualifications:

• PORTFOLIO / SAMPLE WORKS REQUIRED
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or other architectural drafting software
  
• Strong understanding of architectural standards, symbols, and documentation practices
  
• Experience with residential and/or commercial drafting projects
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow design intent
  
• Strong organizational and time management skills
  
• Effective communicator, able to take direction and implement feedback promptly
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with planning departments or building approvals
  
• Familiarity with basic building codes and construction detailing
  
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or basic rendering tools is a plus
