Job description

This is a remote position.

Role Name: QuickBooks Expert / Bookkeeper

Schedule:

  • 10 hours per week, Flexible schedule


Client Timezone: EST (New York)

Join a growing multi-location children's activities company as their dedicated QuickBooks expert and bookkeeper. This exciting role offers the opportunity to optimize and maintain the financial systems of an expanding business that enriches children's lives through various activities. You'll be instrumental in establishing robust financial reporting processes and providing crucial insights for business growth. This position offers flexibility in scheduling and the potential for expanded responsibilities as the organization continues to scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Link and categorize bank transactions in QuickBooks on a weekly basis

  • Produce weekly and monthly management reports focusing on profitability and margins

  • Maintain and update QuickBooks systems across multiple business locations

  • Review and optimize existing QuickBooks setup and configuration

  • Recategorize historical transactions and implement necessary system adjustments

  • Create and maintain financial reports for multiple business locations

  • Ensure QuickBooks data is current and accurate

  • Implement topside adjustments into QuickBooks system



Requirements


  • Proficiency in QuickBooks (Required)

  • Strong experience in bookkeeping and financial reporting

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong English communication skills

  • Experience with multi-location business operations preferred

  • Proficiency in creating and maintaining management reports
