Job description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Flexible, with fixed daily hours to be determined
Client Timezone: New Zealand Time Zone (NZT)
Total Weekly Hours: 20 hours

Join a growing digital marketing agency serving clients across New Zealand, Australia, and Asia. As a Digital Marketing Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in managing and optimizing clients' digital presence. You will work directly with the agency owner to implement a variety of digital marketing initiatives, from managing Google Ads campaigns to creating engaging content and maintaining web properties. This position offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients while developing your skills across multiple digital marketing platforms—with potential for growth as the agency expands its services.



Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain Google Ads campaigns

  • Monitor and report using Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio

  • Create and optimize website and blog content, including AI-assisted content creation

  • Perform WordPress website updates and maintenance using the Themify builder

  • Update contact information, promotional banners, and seasonal content

  • Build and maintain local citations (Google Business, Apple Business, Yelp, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Assist with SEO tasks, including local listings and directory submissions

  • Handle data entry and reporting tasks across various marketing platforms

  • Support e-commerce store management and updates



Requirements:
  • Experience with Google Marketing platforms (Ads, Analytics, Tag Manager)

  • Proficiency in WordPress and page builders (particularly Themify or similar)

  • Strong content writing and editing skills

  • Understanding of SEO principles and local citation building

  • Excellent attention to detail and data entry accuracy

  • Strong English communication skills

  • Ability to work independently while following established processes

  • Experience with reporting tools, especially Looker Studio


Scope:
  • Role with potential for increased hours over time

  • Remote position working with New Zealand-based clients
