Digital Solutions Engineer

The position is responsible for digital solution development (visual report, web sites/page, apps, automation, system integration, software tools, etc.) to facilitate business digital transformation and process automation, to improve our resource efficiency and staff productivity:

• Work with relevant stakeholders to understand user requirements, analyse current issues/gaps, identify improvement opportunities, propose digital solution and development roadmap.
• Gather data from various sources, clean and harmonize data, develop data models and schemas, analyse data with Business Intelligence tools to derive meaningful information/insights.
• Create data visualisations and reports for other stakeholders to comprehend business facts and trends to make better decisions.
• Create apps and automation to improve user experience and efficiency by digitalize manual business workflow/process.
• Integrate data across business software and systems to unify the user experience and remove data silos.
• Create appropriate documentation and user guides to facilitate the adoption of digital solutions developed.

• Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or equivalent disciplines.
• 3+ years of experience in MS Power Platform development and proficient in digital solution development with Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint, Dataverse and Azure.
• Deep understanding of application lifecycle management, UI/UX concepts & design frameworks, and solid knowledge of Python, C#, CSS, JavaScript, HTML etc.
• Experienced in data connection and tool integration with out-of-the-box connectors in PowerApps and Power Automate, and ability to create custom components and connectors.
• Experienced in data analytics and proficient in Microsoft PowerBI and Excel – Power Query (M language), Power Pivot, Data Modelling, DAX, Visual Reporting.
• Experienced in data warehouse/database development & deployment with deep understanding of relational databases, practical knowledge of SQL and RDMS – SQL Server, Azure SQL, DB2, Access, etc.
• Good understanding of Product BOM and practical knowledge of SAP ERP system, especially in Material Management are desirable.
• Proficient in English and Mandarin.
• Adaptive with strong initiative, attention-to-details and motivated for continuous self-upskill.
