Description

The Sales Director, Industrial & Foodservice drives strategy and revenue generation at a national scale. This position focuses on driving growth and development of our foodservice distribution and convenience store channel within the OWS Foods portfolio via innovative custom product development, collaboration with food scientists and/or culinary professionals and partnering for business solutions. Product management & consultative customer engagement are keys to success. 


The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success within broadline distributors and/or the C-Store channel while delivering profitable growth results via a consultative custom development approach. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to assume a position at a rapidly growing, innovative company.

Requirements

Essential Functions of the Position:

  • Grow topline revenue & profit through core account growth & new customer acquisition, positioning OWS Foods as a consultative partner in the business.
  • Understand market dynamics and industry-specific trends to bring our customers insight and acquire new customers within the channel by leveraging account planning tools.
  • Robust project management with cross functional team involvement. Must have comfort in presenting business ideas and influencing others to action.
  • Strong negotiation skills to attain return for full suite of customer support.
  • Effective relationship management with customers, distributors, and coworkers. 
  • Lead, empower and mobilize independent manufacturer rep groups around distribution, execution, and implementation of the sales strategy.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to expedite ideas & execution.
  • Demonstrate a culture grounded in accountability, teamwork, and delivering results.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-years minimum comparable sales experience
  • Experience achieving annual volume and revenue targets
  • Knowledge of the industrial and foodservice industry; specifically in the development of distributor customers and C-Store customers
  • Lead and train broker network on OWS capabilities
  • Efficiency in leveraging a CRM tool, Pipedrive
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Google Suite
  • Up to 50% national travel possible
  • Home office or remote office location
