Technical aptitude: Proven experience as a Solution Architect within the Cloud and Data domain space. Demonstrable examples of the management of solution delivery and scoping of migration and modernization projects.
Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the Cloud and Data Solutions industry. Specifically for Data solutions you will have experience with Data Migrations, ETL Pipelines, Data Modelling and AI/ML practices.
Understanding of key cloud native technology solutions such as CI/CD pipelines, open-source and cloud native technologies.
Demonstrable experience in defining and assuring the estimation of architecture work.
Experience with leading migration projects covering No-VM environments to VM on-prem or in cloud environments. This could also include ‘lift and shift’ or full modernization migrations.
Exhibit excellent understanding of the managed cloud hosting business concepts (AWS, GCP, Azure), market practices and trends.
Demonstrable skills and expertise with cloud architecture best practices and thought leadership in their practical application.
Demonstrated skills and expertise in virtualization techniques , HA (High Availability) and
zero downtime solutions.
Communications expertise with 3rd parties including cloud partners, development teams and potential clients up to C-Suite level.
Leadership and Mentoring:
Team Guidance: Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of guiding team members on the latest technologies and best practices.
Client Engagement: Ability to build and maintain strategic client relationships, ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and delivering on client expectations.
Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership that inspires innovation and new ways of engineering within the team and for client solutions.
Client Relationship Management:
Customer Satisfaction: Dedication to achieving client satisfaction and enhancing client experiences, with a focus on proactively managing client interactions.
Professional Engagement: Active participation in professional engagements to build strong client relationships and support business growth opportunities.

Work Experience:
Relevant Experience:
7-10 years of experience as a hands on architect working within IT developing solutions for either on premise or cloud.
9+ years of experience in Cloud Technologies, specific focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS) (GCP or AWS Certified necessary).
Cloud Migration Projects: Hands-on experience in migrating projects to cloud environments.
Large-Scale Environments: Exposure to large-scale environments involving 100k+ users and managing terabytes of data.
2+ years in pre-sales roles
Experience in architectural and information risk management frameworks such as
TOGAF, COBIT, HITRUST and SABSA
Experience with AI tools and methods
Exposure to software engineering and application development in LAMP, Python, Java, Go, node stacks.
Good presentation, analytical and documentation skills
Good interpersonal style, collaborative, congenial, client-friendly demeanor
Experience in stakeholder management, risk & issue management
Certifications:
Required: AWS or GCP
Additional Qualifications: TOGAF or any Data technology certifications
Industry Experience:
Significant proven experience in Architecture
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Strategic Insight: Capability to support account and engagement strategy development effectively, driving client understanding into actionable technical solutions.
Job Requirements:
Client-Facing Consulting: At least 5-7 years in a client-facing consulting position.
Leadership: Experience leading client-focused consulting, delivery, and/or servicing teams.
Cloud and Application Modernization: Consulting experience in cloud and application modernization.
