Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the financial performance of the organization.
Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including setting realistic targets and monitoring progress towards meeting them.
Identify areas for cost savings and implement processes to optimize financial performance.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as the CEO, sales, and marketing teams, to understand the financial implications of business decisions.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, banks, and investors, to ensure the organization's financial stability and compliance with regulations.
Requirements:
A professional accounting designation (CA or CIA).
A minimum of 6 years of experience in a finance or accounting role, with a strong understanding of financial systems, processes, and best practices.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and provide insights into business performance.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present financial information to a variety of stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient in the use of accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases.
