Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to derive insights from data and develop reporting analytics.

Translate insights into analysis reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Job description

Minimum Qualifications: (Specify if degree required & type, number of years of prior experience, certifications, etc.)

Post Graduate or MBA (preferred) OR Graduates in Engineering / Mathematics / Operations Research / Science / Statistics

With atleast 4+ years’ experience in analytics using SQL,SAS, R or Python, basic statistical concepts and analyzing data & interpreting results to the business

Or 3+ years’ experience preferably from Top tier Analytics/consulting/Analytics startup companies (Mu Sigma, Tiger Analytics, Tredence, Ganit, Shell Data, Verizon data, eClerx, Optum ABCO, Unmetric, Accenture,EClerx, Latent View ) or

Candidates with 2+ working on healthcare data problems would be preferred (Eg: those from United/Optum ABCO, Truven/IBM, Astra Zeneca, Zoom Rx, Sagitec solutions(Health) )

Proficient in data wrangling using SQL and libraries of R,Python such as Dplyr/Pandas, Pyspark etc

Proficient in basic statistical concepts and analyzing data & interpreting results to the business

Applied Machine learning experience or experience in text mining, imaging mining, screen scraping and other big data techniques will be a plus

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

Analytics Practice within SCIO:

Ability to design data driven solutions and Frameworks (Descriptive and Predictive) from scratch & consult in a leadership capacity on potential Solutions/Storyboards and POCs
Drives business metrics that add to the top-line and / or profitability for SCIO’s revenue optimization business
Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis like (raw) data analysis, statistical modeling, data deep-dives etc. to acquire insights from data
Develops Descriptive (reporting) through to Prescriptive Analytics
Translates insights into an analysis reports and communicate insights back to the stakeholders
Applies next-gen technology to all parts of the analytics lifecycle from data extraction, exploratory data analysis, predictive modeling, Data Mining and information extraction from unstructured data to visualization & story boarding
