Key responsibilities:

  • Lead requirement elicitation and participate in workshops to gather project needs.
  • Prepare design documents and manage software configuration, including creating, tagging, and merging branches.
  • Build and deliver applications across various environments while tracking project status and metrics.
  • Mentor junior developers and perform peer reviews to ensure quality in deliverables.

Guidewire Configuration Lead
Job Duties
A data Integration Lead is expected to carry out the following
·       Requirement Elicitation
·       Participate in workshops
·       Prepare Design documents.
·       Software Configuration management. Create,tag and Merge branch.
·       Build and deliver application to various environments.
·       Prepare MPP. Assign tasks. Track Status. Use metrics to monitor the stream level Non compliances.
·       Prepare Design documents.
·       Write Pseudo code
·       Customizing the Guidewire Product
·       Data Model Development
·       Business Logic (Rules) Development
·       PCF Screen ( User Interface) Development
·       LOB Mapping
·       Localization for different Locales
·       Development using Gosu for Classes and Enhancement
·       Prepare UTC and perform unit testing.
·       Perform peer review
·       Mentor Junior developers
Required Experience
7 to 10 years IT Experience
2 Guidewire configuration implementations
Atleast 3 years in Guidewire implementation
Required Skill Set
Extensive experience on the following
·       Guidewire product knowledge
·       Guidewire Product Architecture
·       Guidewire Configuration Knowledge in anyone of Guidewire products(ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter)
·       GOSU
·       Core Java
·       J2EE
·       Web services
·       JMS
·       All Ruleset Categories
·       Guidewire Datamodel
·       Business perspective and Functional perspective of claims handling and policy administration with respect to Guidewire platform
·       Planning
·       Estimation
·       Agile development methodology
Preferred experience on the following
·       Guidewire Functional Certification
·       Weblogic or websphere configuration
·       Performance monitoring and tuning
·       Should provide solutions to architecture level show stoppers.
·       Ability to engage different stake holders (Configuration, Integration, Middleware and Legacy Team) to resolve issues.
