Work closely with software developers to create and maintain a comprehensive Jira roadmap, clearly outlining project tasks, priorities, and timelines.
Ensure technical tasks are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with both short-term objectives and long-term project goals.
Task Assignment & Coordination
Assign and monitor tasks within Jira for onshore and offshore developers, ensuring efficient distribution of work and accurate tracking of progress.
Actively participate in daily stand-ups and update the Kanban board to reflect the current status and flow of work.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting
Provide regular, clear updates to stakeholders on project progress, key deliverables, and potential risks.
Serve as the primary point of contact between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating technical details into actionable business insights.
Project Oversight
Oversee the end-to-end software development process, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
Identify, document, and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that could impact deliverables.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and foster a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Manager, or in a similar role within a software development environment.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in using Jira for agile project management and task tracking.
Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Kanban methodologies, along with best practices in software delivery.
Familiarity with technical concepts and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers on technical requirements and issues.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including software developers, quality assurance teams, and product owners.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities
Strong analytical skills to assess business requirements and translate them into actionable technical tasks.
Demonstrated ability to identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring steady progress in a dynamic development environment.
