Advens for People and Planet :

Advens for People and Planet is an endowment fund (non-profit organisation) created by the founder of the cybersecurity company Advens in 2021.

Its aim is to develop and accelerate impact initiatives that participate in building a trusted digital society, notably by protecting the people and organisations that drive our lives and democracies, and by empowering each and everyone to build their own mind and engage in action.

The endowment fund is composed of three pillars : Education and Inclusion, Democracy and Digital, Sobriety and New Economies.

The main missions of the pillar Democracy and Digital are :

1. fighting disinformation,
2. fighting polarisation
3. engaging corporates in the democratic space

Advens, the French pure-player leader in cybersecurity :

Advens protects its public and private clients from cyber threats. But that's not its only vocation: Advens want to have a positive impact on our world, our society and our lives. Via its 550 experts across France and Europe, Advens supports European companies and public institutions in preventing and neutralising attacks.

Job Description

🤓 Role description :

The internship focuses on the activities of the Democracy & Digital pillar of the fund.
The main missions of the internship are :

Democracy & Digital I Impact officer

Contribute to the development of the initiatives supported by the fund (such as Cyber for Good);
Support the strategic and operational launch of the knowledge center of AFPP (think tank) in coordination with the communication team;
Produce editorial content for internal and external communication;

Contribute to the development of the strategic roadmap internally and with external partners.

🤩 Project Coordination and Management :

Take part to the conception and the execution of cross-functional projects built with external stakeholders;

Facilitate the monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to ensure the successful execution of action plans;

Draft EU / public call for proposals (Ex. Erasmus+, Horizon…).

Qualifications

Skills required :

Enthusiastic and curious.

Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.

High adaptability and priority management.

Fluency in French and English. Knowledge of German, Italian or Spanish is a plus.

Education and experience :

Political science, international relations, history and geography background.
