Job description

Part of the famed Kute Group, OAO Info India has been formed to create one of the leading game development studios in the Action genre. With an ever-expanding team, having grown by more than 100% in the last year, we are well positioned to take the industry by storm by launching action packed and fun games in the coming year. Looking forward to adding Senior Unity Programmer to be with us on this journey ahead.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and manage a large team of 3D and 2D artists, animators, and designers.
  2. Collaborate with game designers, programmers, and producers to create visually stunning and engaging game experiences.
  3. Define the overall visual style and art direction for the game, including characters, environments, props, and visual effects.
  4. Create, maintain, and enforce art production pipelines and workflows.
  5. Review and provide feedback on artists' work to ensure consistency and high quality across all game assets.
  6. Mentor and support the professional development of artists within the team.
  7. Coordinate with external vendors and partners for asset creation, as needed.
  8. Manage art budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  9. Stay current with industry trends, tools, and techniques to drive innovation and quality in the game's art.
  10. Collaborate with marketing and user acquisition teams to create promotional materials and assets.

Requirements:

  1. 3D Modeling: Creating game-ready 3D models of characters, environments, and props. Tools - Blender, Autodesk Maya, or 3ds Max.
  2. Sculpting: Crafting high-poly models and digital sculptures for use in baking textures and creating normal maps. Tools - ZBrush or Mudbox.
  3. Texturing: Creating detailed textures and materials for 3D models, including diffuse, normal, specular, and other maps. Tools - Substance Painter, Substance Designer, or Quixel Suite.
  4. UV Mapping: Efficiently unwrapping 3D models for texture application.
  5. Rigging: Setting up character models with skeletal systems and controls for animation.
  6. Animation: Creating realistic and stylized character and object animations, including walk cycles, combat moves, and facial expressions.
  7. Lighting: Designing and implementing dynamic and static lighting solutions to enhance the game's visual appeal and atmosphere.
  8. Visual Effects: Designing and implementing particle effects, shaders, and other visual effects to enhance gameplay and storytelling.
  9. Level Art: Creating immersive and visually interesting game environments, including terrain, architecture, and props.
  10. Concept Art: Developing and iterating on concept designs for characters, environments, and other game elements.
  11. Optimization: Ensuring that game assets are optimized for performance across various platforms and devices, without compromising visual quality.
