Finance and Operations Business Controller

AppXite is a product software development company, based in Riga, Latvia. Our platform is an Ecosystem Marketplace & Subscription Billing Platform for distributors, sellers, managed service providers, and vendors to automate sales and manage the partner channel. We have years of experience in the SaaS and software markets and long-term working relationships with the largest vendors in the world (e.g. Microsoft, IBM, AWS, Google, Adobe, Cisco etc.). Our platform enables the software and cloud service businesses of household names like Atea and Lenovo.

As Finance and Operations Business Controller, you will add value to the business by leveraging insights & analysis in business planning and decision-making; and by ensuring larger customer’s successful work with our products. We are looking for a strong finance leader fully committed to driving profitability and growth from a finance perspective.

Your mission:

• Working as a member of business partnering team collaborating with other teams, including development & operations to optimize processes and tools related to delivery of our product and services.
• Working as a right hand to COO and CEO on operational excellence projects.
• Design and optimize customer key business processes.
• Owning order to cash process and ensuring high level service delivery.
• Drive business and engagement through building relationships with customer key stakeholders, surfacing opportunities, and driving those opportunities through to delivery;
• Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions with customers to fully understand the scope of new features, functions, or integrations. Challenge customers to think beyond their immediate needs by exploring underlying business problems and guiding them to articulate both current and future requirements. Help customers envision how the forthcoming solution will evolve with their business to ensure long-term value and scalability.

• Previous experience in business controlling (preferably in a product IT company).
• Experience with general consulting skills that include team facilitation, business case development, strong business analysis skills, process mapping, and business process redesigning.
• Superior customer service orientation and relationship management with organizational partners, prospects and clients.
• Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting principles.
• Data driven and analytical mindset with a focus to drive efficiency and leverage tools as appropriate.
• Experience and solid knowledge about ERP tools.
• Experience in financial modeling and forecasting skills.
• Preferable knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments.
• Attitude: Ownership, solution-oriented, customer-centric.
• Fluent in English.
