Job Description

As Business Consultant and Application Manager for our Procurement Department you will be supporting our business application as part of our Information Systems Management Team.

  • Realization and coordination of software projects, including planning, implementation and follow-up.
  • Analysis and optimization of business processes in the course of application support in cooperation with the departments.
  • Implement processes in the existing application landscape
  • Interface management between internal departments, external service providers and software vendors.
  • Collaboration in error analysis and correction in existing applications as well as continuous improvement of the system landscape.
  • Training and support of users in the use of the applications.
  • Documentation of the applications and the changes made.

Qualifications
  • Experience in IT project management as well as in applications such as our Procurement modules in an ERP System (ideally IFS).
  • Fluent in English is a must (C1), Slovak and German are an advantage
  • Alternatively, experience in a procurement department of a machine manufacturer.
  • Experience in error analysis and debugging as well as in dealing with databases and programming languages advantageous.
  • Knowledge in process analysis and optimization.
  • Ability to work independently, high problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Communication skills and enjoyment of cross-company cooperation in the team.
  • Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, business administration / economics or a comparable qualification.
  • Willingness to travel 15 - 20% of the time, predominantly to Germany
