Job description

Job Title: Associate – Legal & Compliance
Job Location: MS, Abu Dhabi Global Market

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist clients through the company set-up process, including company registration, licensing, legal documentation, and PRO services.
  • Conduct thorough research on clients' business objectives, industry regulations, and ADGM guidelines to ensure compliance and accuracy throughout the company formation process.
  • Collaborate with internal departments, such as legal, finance, and operations teams, to gather and prepare the required documents for company formation.
  • Assist clients in selecting the most suitable legal structure and business activities based on their specific needs and objectives.
  • Performing client due diligence, conducting ongoing due diligence and monitoring in line with customer’s risk profiles.
  • Assistance in implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
  • Prepare and submit necessary applications, forms, and supporting documents to the relevant authorities within the ADGM.
  • Liaise with ADGM and other regulatory bodies on behalf of clients to obtain necessary approvals and applications.
  • Act as the primary point of contact (POC) for clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their requirements throughout the company set-up and PRO services.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the ADGM regulatory framework and any changes or updates that may impact the company set-up process.
  • Provide accurate and timely updates to clients on the progress of their company formation, ensuring exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of streamlined processes and best practices to enhance the efficiency of the company set-up procedures.
  • Maintain a track and manage all necessary filings and compliance requirements for clients, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations and deadlines.
  • Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and reporting requirements that may impact clients, keeping them informed and updated on necessary compliance measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for additional services and upselling to clients.
  • Ensuring compliance with the firm’s policies and procedures.

Qualification preference: Company Secretary/ Legal background
Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience
